. These tracks are a culmination of many different days of solitude. Me, a bass, a JDXI keyboard, my loop pedal and an unwavering love of sound and texture. I'm releasing it, (with the help of Topshelf) as an experiment. It's kind of like chewing on the same piece of bubble gum for hours and wondering if it's actually strengthening your jaw. I think I get a lot of peace out of making these pieces. They're tiny little worlds of ideas that I've tried to create from silence. These loops are my contribution to the world. They're not perfect, but I really love them.A lovely thing about them, and something folks have found interesting is that the drums were made entirely by hand, no computer, no metronome, no snapping, no anything. So if they sound off- Hey, I'm working with a little bit of rhythm and a dream. If you all ever want a tutorial of how I make things, give me a shout. It takes really steady hands and an imagination on where certain parts should go. Making loops is kind of my way of creating art where there is no hierarchy and there are no rules. I already have about twenty new ones on my pedal serving as scratch recordings for DUNDUNDUNNNNN (a new album?)

Take them as you see fit. Let's make music. Let's get together and learn how to do musical things. Lets collaborate. Let's envision the future of farms or talk shit about our respective situations.
